We hope everyone had a fun-filled holiday.

Spencer and I enjoyed the holiday with our family. It was fun times with the iPhone at the Christmas Eve party with the relatives. And we had a good time with our favorite Brooklyn mugger while we were checking out the Christmas lights in the OC.

AND on our drive down home, we were on the freeway when the fireworks at Disneyland started. So we got to drive with cool fireworks lighting up the sky. The best part happened as we got closer to Disneyland. We could see the fireworks lighting up the freeway with different colors. It was awesome. But even better, right as we got next to the Disneyland, the fireworks felt like they were right above us. We could hear the pop of the fireworks as they exploded toward the freeway like a bunch of pretty-colored, flaming balls of light. It was a great way to mark our very first Christmas together. Something we’ll never forget.

juno is a really good movie. we have seen it 2 times before it’s theatrical release and it’s still funny the 2nd time around.

It’s our 4-month wedding anniversary as well as our 3-year “we’re officially together” anniversary today. =) After going to work and then setting up the Christmas tree (not yet decorated though), we had an excellent dinner at Donovan’s Steakhouse in La Jolla. Mucho gusto. (I hope I used that correctly since I never took Spanish.) And we just got home about half an hour ago, and now we’re having fun jaiku-ing each other. (It’s a web 2.0 thing for all the non-nerds out there.)

So that was our day. It was fun just like usual. But with an added bonus of a nice, juicy steak dinner and creme brulee to finish the day. And we must not forget our “popeye” joke. A joke that was deemed unfunny but managed to make Trisha laugh til her stomach hurt. Good times. Good times. =)

We’ve been working on the house like real adults (eek!) and it is freaking exhausting. So the past 2 months have mostly been about cleaning, unpacking, organizing, and fixing up the house. We managed to fit in our awesome honeymoon in that time. But otherwise, it’s been all about the home. We still don’t have enough time to update this site as often as we’d like, but we will! You better believe that these two nerds will update this website. If we don’t, we would bring great dishonor to our name.
